NOTICE OF RACE

San Diego 505 Fleet Three - Mission Bay Yacht Club

Saturday June 2nd and Sunday June 3rd 2001

This regatta is sailed on the Pacific Ocean outside of Mission Bay in San Diego California. Located only a few miles from the venue that hosted two America's Cup regattas, this is an area recognized for its consistent afternoon breezes. The regatta will consist of five races involving triangle courses with windward/leeward courses thrown in. Gate starts. Included in the fees are post race activities that will include consumption of beer, and soda, and hamburgers.

ELIGIBILITY

Entries are limited to International 505 Class dinghies.

RACING SCHEDULE

Saturday: THREE RACES   0800: Registration   1000: Skippers Meeting   1200: First race Start - Ocean   1700: Dinner! Beer!

Sunday: TWO RACES   1200: Fourth race start   1600: Awards and more beer!

ENTRY FEE

$35.00 (Only $30 for current members of US Sailing Association.)

REGISTRATION

1. All teams entering this regatta must convey their intention to race to Chris Stomberg prior to 1600 Friday, June 1, 2001. This may be done by telephone (619 233-5226), or email chris_stomberg@yahoo.com. Official entry is by submission of form and fee in advance or at the registration table.
